Many people think of writing as a lonely, frustrating and painful process. It never feels that way for me. I enjoy every step of the process, from research and interviewing to drafting a finished product.
My experience spans many media: magazines, books, websites and radio. My first job as a professional writer was at Forbes magazine, where I started out as a fact-checker and worked my way up to reporter.
Later, I launched and ran a newsletter for four years for Tom Peters, co-author of best-selling business book In Search of Excellence. I enjoyed a stint as editor of a national half-hour daily business news show on public radio, and helped launch a national magazine called Family Business, to which I continue to contribute. Currently I divide my time between freelance writing, ghost writing and working part time for TALKERS, a national trade magazine for the talk-show industry.

My work in this area also led to a consulting assignment to help develop (and appear on) a PBS show, "Kids, Cash and Common Sense," which recently aired on 50 public television stations—and won a regional Emmy in 2004. |
Whether on staff, as a freelance / independent contractor/consultant or ghost writer, just about any media, topic and format is "write" up my alley.
Whatever project you have in mind, I have the experience, skills, attitude and reliability to get the job done. I deliver well-researched, accurate, high-quality products. Deadlines are sacrosanct; you will receive your project on time.
